Combat Medical Technicians are the lifeline of the StowMarines. They are key medical unit that operate under fire to ensure the platoon stays in the fight, performing the most critical, advanced life-saving functions on the battlefield.
As a Combat Medical Technician, you get the best of both worlds, functioning as both operator and medic. You can expect to have responsibilities such as, ensuring the correct medical equipment of you and your team, casualty triaging, calling CASREPs to your chief medical officer, providing medical during massive casualty incidents using advance equipment, providing medical CASSTATs for hostages and HVTs, close protection for HVTs, assisting with CCPs. Note: we use the KAT mod.

Selection: Candidates must be recommended to the CMO (Chief Medical Officer), and the CMO will select the most suitable candidate(s).
Along with the combat responsibilities of an operator the cmt also needs to
Casualty Recovery:
Working with your TL/FO to recover wounded casualties during a firefight
Medical Equipment:
Ensuring your team have the correct equipment before missions and remain stocked up during missions.
Medical Wellbeing:
Ensuring the Medical wellbeing of not only your team members but PoWs, HVTs as well as Neutral and Allied assets
MCI:
Making strategic decisions under pressure during massive casualty incidents.
Deciding which casualties to provide aid to (triage), if you need additional assistance from other units, if medevacs are needed or if this all has to wait whilst you first neutralise the enemy.
HQ Communication:
A vital role of yours if keeping our command element up to date regarding casualties and Medical supplies.
An unconscious patient can delay our objective and potentially mean another team is moving into a firefight, unsupported. By providing clear CASREPs to your CMO. The PL can make Tactical decisions and alter the plan of action where needed.
