Prerequisites

Ribbons: Extensive Rotary Flight Experience (in SM) & has all infantry Leadership ribbons up to (and including) Team Leader.

Unit Experience: All candidates must have at least 6 months experience as a full time member of the StowMarines.

Selection: Candidates can only apply for this role with a recommendation from a current member of Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Training:

  • Compose weekly training plans for Helios

  • Run training sessions to catch all pilots up to necessary standards

• Personnel & Logistics:

  • Ensure high quality team cohesion

  • Assign Correct aircrafct to the correct callsigns if delegated by the JTAC

• Air Leadership

  • Make decisions for the whole of Helios in operations when needed

  • Issue orders to other Helios callsigns in the event of the JTAC not directly assigning a callsign

• Map Management:

  • Ensure effective intel for ground troops through accurate map markers

  • Update the map throughout missions to ensure it matches the active situation

• Field Asset Awareness:

  • Track Friendly assets POSREP and SITREP

  • Advise the JTAC on Enemy Movements
